A2E (a2e.ai) is a browser toolkit for AI video and stills. Public pages lead with image-to-video, face swap, head swap, talking photos, lip-sync, voice clone, and AI avatars — plus a REST API and an MCP server for talking avatars. It also hosts other engines. ImgToVid does not run A2E; the generator on this page drafts on Seedance 2.5.

A2E’s own FAQ calls it an all-in-one video and image platform: no camera, mic, or actor required. Image-to-video is one tool in that set, not the whole product.

The A2E image-to-video page lists clips of 5, 10, or 15 seconds at 720p or 1080p. You upload a start frame, or a first and last frame, then describe the motion.

Homepage tools include face swap, head swap, talking photo, talking video, lip-sync, cloth swap, and voice clone. Voice-clone copy lists 50+ languages. These jobs start from a face or a voice, not from a blank prompt.

Avatars over API and MCP
A2E publishes a REST API and what it calls an AI Avatar MCP server, so an app can start talking-avatar or streaming-avatar jobs. That is a developer path, not a single-clip playground.

Hosted engines sit beside the tools
The homepage also names Seedance 2.5, Wan 3.0, and Veo 3.1, with Kling 4.0 marked coming soon. Those engines keep their own length and picture limits. A2E is the wrapper.

Jobs that fit a swap-and-talk studio

A2E’s own use-case copy points at product clips, e-learning, camera-shy presenters, and video translation. A single foundation-model take is only one of those jobs.

A still that has to speak
Talking photo and lip-sync are the listed path: a face plus audio, not a prompt that hopes the mouth matches.
A first and last frame
Image-to-video’s first-last-frame mode fills the transition between two stills. Official guidance is to keep the subject a similar size in both.
An avatar inside your app
If the work already lives in a product, A2E’s public API and MCP server are the documented way to start talking-avatar jobs there.

Write the shot here. Seedance 2.5 carries the prompt into Create. Membership and credits are checked there.

Can I call A2E from an app?

On A2E’s own site, yes: a public REST API and an AI Avatar MCP server are documented. That path is not available on ImgToVid.

Can I generate A2E videos on ImgToVid?

No. The generator on this page runs Seedance 2.5 so you can draft a shot. A2E is marked coming soon.

Can I use the results commercially?
