Placeit Envato Mockup Videos

Placeit (placeit.net) is Envato’s browser studio for mockups, logos, and template videos — not an image CDN and not a pay-as-you-go model marketplace. Homepage: unlimited mockups for Etsy, Amazon, Printify; video collection of intros, logo reveals, Instagram stories, Twitch screens, and photo slideshows. Help: videos download as MP4; each template allows up to 10 slides for subscribers and 5 for non-subscribers; there is a guide for a video of a specific length, plus add-your-own audio / trim. Length follows the template and the slides, not a 4 / 6 / 8 second cinematic picker published as a generate row here. Skip dollar prices. ImgToVid does not run Placeit; the generator on this page drafts on Seedance 2.5.

01 — Capabilities

A mockup-template studio, not a CDN desk or a model marketplace

Public Placeit pages sell a filled template exported as MP4. They do not sell PixelBin’s hosted 2–12 second T2V, or PixelBunny’s 42+ models.

01
Help: up to 10 slides (subscribers) or 5 (non-subscribers)
Length follows the template. That MP4 stays on placeit.net.
02
Intros, slideshows, Instagram stories, Twitch screens
Video catalog plus apparel / device mockups and logos. You fill text, photos, and music — you do not pick Kling or Veo.
03
Download is MP4; mockup stills are PNG at 72 dpi
No first-party Placeit 4 / 6 / 8 second generate row here.
04
Not PixelBin T2V, not PixelBunny pay-as-you-go
PixelBin is a CDN with a hosted short-video desk. PixelBunny is a credit marketplace. Placeit is Envato’s template studio. This site does not open Placeit.

02 — Prompt to output

Prompts that match the clips above

Each prompt describes the picture on its card. “Use this prompt” sends that text to Create. The generator on this page runs Seedance 2.5, not Placeit.

01 · Portrait
PromptClose-up of a young man with curly hair in a grey knit sweater, soft window light. He glances away, then smiles. Slow push-in, shallow depth of field.
02 · Product
PromptA white leather sneaker on a pale grey studio backdrop, soft diffused light. The camera orbits slowly. Stitching stays sharp, the look stays minimal.
03 · Street
PromptA slow dolly down a cobblestone lane in an old European village. Climbing roses on stone walls, café tables in morning sun, a few people walking in the distance.
04 · Character
PromptA young woman with shoulder-length brown hair in an olive t-shirt, late-afternoon gold light. She turns her head and looks off. Breeze in her hair, a handheld feel.

03 — Where it fits

Jobs a template studio is selling

Public pages point at a mockup or a slideshow you fill. They do not sell a PixelBin 2–12 second T2V pass or a PixelBunny Kling clip of Placeit’s own.

An intro, logo reveal, or photo slideshow (up to 10 slides)
Help: subscribers 10 slides, non-subscribers 5. This page does not open that template.
An Instagram story, Twitch screen, or apparel mockup still
Catalog on placeit.net. Export stays there.
A 2–12 second T2V clip, or a hosted Kling/Veo credit run
That is PixelBin or PixelBunny. Placeit is the Envato template desk.
A draft shot on ImgToVid
Write the shot here. Seedance 2.5 carries the prompt into Create. Membership and credits are checked there.

Strengths

placeit.net: Envato mockup, logo, and template-video studio
Help: MP4 download; up to 10 slides (subscribers) / 5 (non-subscribers)
Catalog: intros, slideshows, Instagram stories, Twitch screens
Honest that template length is not a 4/6/8s generate row here

Trade-offs

No first-party 4 / 6 / 8 second cinematic picker of Placeit’s own — length follows the template and slides
Not a text-to-video model marketplace
Placeit is not available on ImgToVid

05 — Side by side

Placeit, Veo 3.1 and Kling 4.0

Placeit is an Envato template studio. Veo 3.1 and Kling 4.0 numbers below are from those vendors’ public docs. A 10-slide MP4 is not a Placeit generate row on ImgToVid.

	Placeit	Veo 3.1	Kling 4.0
Developer	Envato	Google DeepMind	Kuaishou
Single clip	Follows the template and slides (help: up to 10 / 5 slides)	4, 6 or 8 seconds	3–30 seconds

06 — How it works

Start a clip on ImgToVid

Step 1
Describe one shot
Subject, action, camera. Placeit will not be the model that runs it.
Step 2
Use the generator on this page
It runs Seedance 2.5, because Placeit is not offered here. The prompt and the settings carry into Create.
Step 3
Generate in Create
Membership and credits are checked there. Coming back to this page does not switch the model over to Placeit.

07 — FAQ

Placeit, in plain terms

What is Placeit?

Placeit (placeit.net) is Envato’s mockup and template-video studio: intros, slideshows, Instagram stories, Twitch screens. ImgToVid does not host Placeit.

How long is a Placeit clip?

Length follows the template and the slides. Help: up to 10 slides for subscribers, 5 for non-subscribers. That is not a Placeit 4 / 6 / 8 second cinematic picker here.

Does Placeit generate video from text?

You fill a template (text, photos, music) and download MP4. That is not a cinematic T2V one-shot on ImgToVid.

What picture size can I use?

Videos download as MP4. Help lists mockup stills as PNG at 72 dpi. This site does not list a Placeit generate-row resolution.

Can I generate Placeit videos on ImgToVid?

No. The generator on this page runs Seedance 2.5 so you can draft a shot. Placeit is marked coming soon.

Can I use the results commercially?

Commercial use of anything you generate on ImgToVid depends on your plan. Check Pricing and our Terms before you publish, and make sure prompts and uploads do not infringe someone else’s rights.
