LipDub AI Lip-Sync Localization
LipDub (lipdub.ai) is a video localization platform: upload a clip you already shot or generated, translate the transcript into 80+ languages, clone the speaker’s voice or pick a library voice, then lip-sync the mouth to the new words. Product FAQ: up to 180 minutes per video; MOV or MP4, H.264 or ProRes, SD up to 4K at 23.976 / 24 / 25 / 29.97 / 30 fps. Voice clone needs about 10 seconds of source audio. Length follows the footage, not a 4 / 6 / 8 second generate picker. ImgToVid does not run LipDub; the generator on this page drafts on Seedance 2.5.
01 — Capabilities
Lip-sync on footage you already have, not a 12-second T2V playground
Public LipDub pages sell a dubbed talking head. They do not sell Kira’s short-clip studio or Krea’s realtime canvas.
01
Upload, translate 80+ languages, clone voice, lip-sync
Five steps on the product page: upload, translate and refine the transcript, clone or pick a voice, lip-sync the mouth, export. Custom audio also works. That is localization, not a blank prompt desk.
02
Up to 180 minutes; SD to 4K — intake and export of existing footage
FAQ: 180 minutes per video, 30 GB on the platform, unlimited size via API. Formats: MOV/MP4, H.264 or ProRes, SD to 4K, constant frame rate. Plan copy also names 1080p and 4K export caps. Those are editor/export limits, not a cinematic generate table here.
03
Turbo, Flash, Premium, Ultra sit on the lip-sync job
Product FAQ names Turbo (zero-shot, no training), Flash, Premium (higher-quality default) and Ultra (Enterprise). Premium and Ultra add speaker training. They are lip-sync SKUs, not a 5-second T2V picker.
04
Not Kira’s Lite/Nova/Ultra short clip, not Krea’s 5–12s hosted T2V
Kira generates short videos from a prompt. Krea hosts T2V and a realtime canvas. LipDub re-animates a mouth on footage you bring in. This site does not open any of them.
02 — Prompt to output
Prompts that match the clips above
Each prompt describes the picture on its card. “Use this prompt” sends that text to Create. The generator on this page runs Seedance 2.5, not LipDub.
- 01 · Portrait
PromptClose-up of a young man with curly hair in a grey knit sweater, soft window light. He glances away, then smiles. Slow push-in, shallow depth of field.
- 02 · Product
PromptA white leather sneaker on a pale grey studio backdrop, soft diffused light. The camera orbits slowly. Stitching stays sharp, the look stays minimal.
- 03 · Street
PromptA slow dolly down a cobblestone lane in an old European village. Climbing roses on stone walls, café tables in morning sun, a few people walking in the distance.
- 04 · Character
PromptA young woman with shoulder-length brown hair in an olive t-shirt, late-afternoon gold light. She turns her head and looks off. Breeze in her hair, a handheld feel.
03 — Where it fits
Jobs a lip-sync desk is selling
Public pages point at a 30-second ad, a course, a podcast, or a long-form talking head dubbed into another language. They do not sell an 8-second LipDub cinematic model.

A talking head localized into 80+ languages
Translate, clone, lip-sync. This page does not open that editor.

A 180-minute course or a 30-second ad, same pipeline
Length follows the file you upload. That run stays on LipDub.

A prompt-only 5–12s cinematic clip
That is Krea or Kira. LipDub starts from footage you already have.

A draft shot on ImgToVid
Write the shot here. Seedance 2.5 carries the prompt into Create. Membership and credits are checked there.
04 — Verdict
What LipDub actually is
Strengths
- Localization: translate, voice clone, lip-sync on existing footage
- 80+ languages; custom audio also syncs
- Up to 180 min; MOV/MP4; SD to 4K at standard frame rates
- Honest that length follows the upload — no 4 / 6 / 8s generate picker
Trade-offs
- Not a text-to-video one-shot model
- Needs a visible speaker and source audio (~10s to clone)
- LipDub is not available on ImgToVid
- Marked coming soon on this site
05 — Side by side
LipDub, Veo 3.1 and Kling 4.0
LipDub is a lip-sync localization desk. Veo 3.1 and Kling 4.0 numbers below are from those vendors’ public docs — they are one-shot clip models, not a LipDub dub of footage you already have.
06 — How it works
Start a clip on ImgToVid
Step 1
Describe one shot
Subject, action, camera. LipDub will not be the model that runs it.
Step 2
Use the generator on this page
It runs Seedance 2.5, because LipDub is not offered here. The prompt and the settings carry into Create.
Step 3
Generate in Create
Membership and credits are checked there. Coming back to this page does not switch the model over to LipDub.
07 — FAQ
LipDub, in plain terms
What is LipDub?
LipDub (lipdub.ai) is a video localization platform: upload footage, translate into 80+ languages, clone or pick a voice, lip-sync the mouth. It is not a text-to-video one-shot. ImgToVid does not host LipDub.
How long is a LipDub clip?
Length follows the file you upload. Product FAQ: up to 180 minutes per video. There is no 4 / 6 / 8 second cinematic generate picker.
Does LipDub generate video from text?
No. You start from a video you already have. Dialogue replacement can take TTS or uploaded audio, then lip-sync. That is not a Veo-style one-shot on ImgToVid.
What picture size can I use?
Intake FAQ: SD up to 4K, MOV/MP4, H.264 or ProRes, constant frame rate. Plan copy names 1080p and 4K export. Those are localization exports, not a generate row on this site.
Can I generate LipDub videos on ImgToVid?
No. The generator on this page runs Seedance 2.5 so you can draft a shot. LipDub is marked coming soon.
Can I use the results commercially?
Commercial use of anything you generate on ImgToVid depends on your plan. Check Pricing and our Terms before you publish, and make sure prompts and uploads do not infringe someone else’s rights.
LipDub is not the button on this page
You can still draft the shot. The generator runs Seedance 2.5, and the prompt goes with you into Create.
