HeyGen Digital Twin
HeyGen is an avatar studio. This page opens Digital Twin on ImgToVid: pick a HeyGen avatar, add a voice track of at least 1 second, and the clip length follows the audio at 60 credits per second. Output is 720p, 1080p or 4K at 16:9 or 9:16. It is not Talking Avatar (a still plus audio, 3 seconds minimum) and not a prompt-only cinematic generate. Video Translate sits on the same family strip.
01 — Capabilities
A speaking twin from audio, not an 8-second cinematic model
HeyGen’s public docs sell Digital Twins and a 30-minute scene cap. This site’s generate row is audio-driven Digital Twin, with Video Translate beside it.
01
Digital Twin: avatar + audio, 1 second floor
Choose an avatar from HeyGen’s list, then upload a voice track. Length follows the file. This project requires at least 1 second. Credits are 60 per second of audio. There is no prompt-only generate on this series.
02
720p, 1080p or 4K; 16:9 or 9:16
Those are the picture sizes and frames this series lists. HeyGen’s own API also lists 720p and 1080p, with 4K on Avatar III. The picker on this page is 720p / 1080p / 4K at 16:9 or 9:16.
03
Video Translate is a different job
The second family card starts from a video of 120 seconds or less, picks an output language, and uses Precision or Speed lip-sync. Credits are 40 per second in Precision, 20 in Speed. It is not Digital Twin.
04
Not Talking Avatar, not a Veo clip
Talking Avatar on this site is a still plus audio, 3 seconds minimum, 20 credits per second. D-ID and DreamActor open that series. Veo-style 4 / 6 / 8 second text-to-video is a different product.
02 — Prompt to output
Prompts that match the clips above
Each prompt describes the picture on its card. “Use this prompt” still goes to Create. Digital Twin is driven by the voice track, not by this text.
- 01 · Portrait
PromptClose-up of a young man with curly hair in a grey knit sweater, soft window light. He glances away, then smiles. Slow push-in, shallow depth of field.
- 02 · Product
PromptA white leather sneaker on a pale grey studio backdrop, soft diffused light. The camera orbits slowly. Stitching stays sharp, the look stays minimal.
- 03 · Street
PromptA slow dolly down a cobblestone lane in an old European village. Climbing roses on stone walls, café tables in morning sun, a few people walking in the distance.
- 04 · Character
PromptA young woman with shoulder-length brown hair in an olive t-shirt, late-afternoon gold light. She turns her head and looks off. Breeze in her hair, a handheld feel.
03 — Where it fits
Jobs a speaking twin is selling
Use Digital Twin when you have a line to speak. Use Video Translate when you already have a clip to re-language. This page does not sell an 8-second HeyGen cinematic model.

A speaking twin from audio
Add the voice track. One second is the floor. Length and credits follow the file, 60 per second.

A clip that has to change language
Open HeyGen Video Translate from the family below. That type wants a video of 120 seconds or less, not a still-plus-audio Talking Avatar job.

A training-style or presenter take
Pick an avatar look, keep the camera still, let the audio carry the line. Not a product orbit.

Not a text-only video
If you only have a sentence and no audio, open Seedance. Digital Twin will not start from text alone.
04 — Verdict
What HeyGen actually is here
Strengths
- You can generate from this page — Digital Twin is live
- Audio ≥1s, 60 credits per second, 720p / 1080p / 4K
- 16:9 or 9:16; Video Translate sits on the same family strip
- Clear split from Talking Avatar and from Veo-style one-shots
Trade-offs
- Audio is required; no prompt-only generate
- Credits scale with audio length, 60 per second
- Video Translate is a different type and needs a video ≤120s
- Not a cinematic 4 / 6 / 8 second clip picker
05 — Side by side
HeyGen, Veo 3.1 and Kling 4.0
HeyGen here is a speaking avatar. Veo 3.1 and Kling 4.0 numbers below are from those vendors’ public docs — they are one-shot clip models, not a Digital Twin voice track.
